We met at Union University where we were both students. About six months later we began dating. After dating a little over a year we were engaged for nine months and married on December 20, 2008. Six months into marriage we started our own blog to share stories from our life together; insights, thoughts, and so on.
We are both followers of Jesus Christ, and our goal is to glorify our Lord in everything we do whether that be in our marriage, in our participation in our church, Cornerstone Community Church, in sharing the gospel with those around us, or just in daily rituals.
We reside in Jackson, Tennessee where Bob is a middle school English teacher. Joanna is a full-time mom, taking care of Betsie Noelle, who was born in December 2010. In the spring of 2012 we began the process of a domestic adoption.
